Villa Scorcio – Terms & Conditions

Reserving a private villa such as Villa Scorcio differs significantly from booking a standard hotel room, particularly in terms of payment and cancellation. Please read the following terms and conditions carefully.

When a Guest reserves a stay at Villa Scorcio, the Guest is considered to have accepted these terms and conditions as well as the processing of personal data necessary to manage the reservation.

Payment

When you, as Guest, initiate a reservation, 100% of the total booking amount is due at the time of booking and must be paid via our secure payment gateway.

A refundable security deposit will also be required upon check-in at Villa Scorcio.

If you wish to cancel your reservation, please refer to our Cancellation Policy.

Arrival & Departure

Standard check-in time is 2:00 PM, and check-out time is 12:00 PM (noon). Any variation must be requested at least 24 hours in advance and will be subject to availability.

Damage or Losses

Please treat Villa Scorcio with care. Guests are responsible for any damage, loss, or need for special cleaning resulting from negligence. These may be deducted from the deposit or charged separately if they exceed the deposit amount.

Excessive or unacceptable loss/damage may result in immediate eviction without refund.

Access

During your stay, the villa and its facilities are for your exclusive use. However, staff, contractors, or the Owner may need access for maintenance, cleaning, or additional services. Reasonable access must be granted.

Use of Property

All stays at Villa Scorcio are for vacation purposes only unless otherwise agreed. Events such as parties or weddings must be discussed and approved in writing prior to booking.

Please note that same-sex marriage ceremonies are not legally recognized in Indonesia and may conflict with local customs.

Should a permitted event require local authority or community permission, the Guest is responsible for securing it. If permits are denied, only the event fee will be refunded—no further compensation will be provided.

Valuables and Security

Guests are responsible for securing personal belongings. The villa management and Owner are not liable for any lost or damaged items.

Please ensure all windows and doors are securely locked when not on the premises.

Price Fluctuation

Prices are locked in at the time of booking. Villa Scorcio does not offer refunds based on currency exchange changes.

New taxes or charges introduced after booking may be added, and guests will be notified accordingly.

Complaints

We aim to ensure your stay at Villa Scorcio is pleasant. If issues arise, please inform us immediately during your stay so we may address them. Complaints raised after departure cannot be addressed retroactively.

Provisions

Villa Scorcio is self-catered. Guests are responsible for daily groceries and supplies. Staff may assist with purchasing provisions at your request, the cost of which will be charged to you.

Responsibility & Accuracy

All descriptions and ratings of Villa Scorcio and its surroundings are accurate to the best of our knowledge at the time of publication. However, the Owner and management are not responsible for unforeseen changes or inaccuracies.

Disclaimers

Villa Scorcio and its Owner do not accept any responsibility or liability for:

• Injury, illness, death, loss, damage, or additional expense
• Damage or theft of any vehicle or belongings
• Issues due to incomplete travel documents, missed connections, or delays
• Acts of God or force majeure (e.g. natural disasters, strikes, political unrest)
• Technical or mechanical failures related to the villa

In all cases, liability is limited to the total amount paid by the Guest for the booking.

Final Acknowledgement

By booking Villa Scorcio, the Guest confirms having read, understood, and accepted these Terms & Conditions in full.

Should any part of these terms be deemed invalid or unenforceable, all remaining provisions will remain in effect.
